done just as you believed it would." And his servant
was healed at that very hour.
Jesus turned and saw her. "Take heart, daughter," he
said, "your faith has healed you." And the woman was
healed from that moment.
Then Jesus answered, "Woman, you have great faith!
Your request is granted." And her daughter was
healed from that very hour.
Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, if you have
faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was
done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this
mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and it
will be done. If you believe, you will receive
whatever you ask for in prayer."
"'If you can'?" said Jesus. "Everything is possible
for him who believes."
"Have faith in God," Jesus answered. "I tell you the
truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw
yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his
heart but believes that what he says will happen, it
will be done for him."
Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but
whoever does not believe will be condemned.
When Jesus heard this, he was amazed at him, and
turning to the crowd following him, he said, "I tell
you, I have not found such great faith even in

Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and
the Father is in me; or at least believe on the
evidence of the miracles themselves. I tell you the
truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I
have been doing. He will do even greater things than
these, because I am going to the Father.
By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see
and know was made strong. It is Jesus' name and the
faith that comes through him that has given this
complete healing to him, as you can all see.
I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the
power of God for the salvation of everyone who
believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.
For in the gospel a righteousness from God is
revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from

Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded. On what
principle? On that of observing the law? No, but on

faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus

We live by faith, not by sight
Know that a man is not justified by observing the
law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have
put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be
justified by faith in Christ and not by observing

In order that we, who were the first to hope in
Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. And

Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great
cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that
hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and
let us run with perseverance the race marked out for
us. 2Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and
perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before
him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat
down at the right hand of the throne of God.
If you continue in your faith, established and firm,
not moved from the hope held out in the gospel. This

believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like
a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.
